Making friends, having fun and exploring wellbeing is just a little glimpse into what it is like to be a Wellbeing Warrior.
Wellbeing Warriors aims to be a safer space for children and young people aged 7 years plus, in Keyham, Plymouth and surrounding areas to be creative with crafts and games, explore mindfulness and yoga tools and their own wellbeing.
The sessions have been running since September 2021. The playful weekly meet-ups vary each week, but often include nature-based activities and being outdoors, getting messy, and seasonally themed tasks.
On top of all of that, the Wellbeing Warriors always have space to check-in and check-out, prepare themselves yummy snacks and take part in yoga and mindfulness, before the chill down at the end.
Open to all children and young persons ages 7 and over; all abilities and needs are welcome. We welcome parents and carers to attend these sessions to support their child-young person if needed.
As we want everyone to be able to access our club, sessions cost £1.50 but can reduce the cost, or be free, if needed.
Don’t forget to wear something comfortable and weather appropriate, that you don’t mind getting a little muddy or mucky as we are often outside or getting hands on.
Tuesdays. 4.30pm – 6.00pm at Keyham Green Places, 163 Renown St, Keyham, Plymouth PL2 2DT.

We have worked with following organisations to build upon what we do: Young Devon, Sea Wyld, Creative Curiosities, Wolseley Trust, Keyham Green Places youth group, KGP centre , Plymouth City Council Youth Service, Plymouth ScrapStore CIC.
