Yoga Warriors

Yoga Warriors is a fun and aspiring to be an inclusive class for children aged 7 and over. The sessions are creative and non-competitive, centred around learning yoga-based techniques to use when managing life’s up’s and down’s.

The Yoga Warriors learn many tools for life, in an engaging and appropriate way for children and young people, including body, mind and breath awareness. During the sessions the children enjoy trying out a range of yoga postures, relaxation tools, and mindfulness practices. As a group, the Yoga Warriors talk about when they could use these tools themselves at home or at school, to help them.

Yoga Warriors aspires to be inclusive, where all abilities and needs are welcome. This includes children and young people who are neurodiverse, experiencing emotional or social distress, anxiety, or who have other physical or learning needs. Parents and carers are really welcome too!

As we want everyone to be able to access our class, we have Community Concessions available which can reduce the cost of the class to either a low cost, or free, if needed.

There is no need to buy or wear anything special to join in with Yoga Warriors. You’ll need to make sure you are drinking water and wearing comfortable clothes that allow you to move around, with layers such as a jumper that you can take off, and put back on again to keep you warm.

To make sure you and your needs are supported, please do let us know if there are any adjustments that you would like us to make, or to keep in our minds, during the session.
